Spintronics is a field that explores novel physical phenomena arising from spin transport and applies them to electronic devices and systems. One of the most well-known technologies based on spintronics is Magnetoresistive Random Access Memory (MRAM), which is introduced in more detail in the videos below.
Our research focus spans from nanoscale spin devices to system-level spintronic applications. Specifically, we investigate the underlying physics of spintronic materials (e.g., magnetic materials and spin-source materials) using nanoscale devices, and extend these insights to circuit- and system-level implementations. By doing so, we aim to demonstrate advanced memories and emerging computational functionalities.
